Application Profile: Chemical Drum Labels Where: Manufacturing, shipping, recycling facilities Description: To be compliant with strict US government regulations, drums of chemicals must be permanently labeled to identify their contents, its hazardous characteristics, proper disposal, lot code, etc. Much of this information is bar coded and each label contains this pertinent information. Labels must not only be permanent, but also weather and chemical-resistant within the drum. These labels also contain color coded symbols for further identification purposes.
